Different Strokes Communications Pvt. Ltd. was started more than 10 years ago as a production house. After making many commercials, corporate audio-visuals, covering live events, etc., we have since moved on to feature films and documentaries, and shall soon have produced our first TV show.

Our first venture was a Bhojpuri film titled Tu Babuaa Hamaar in 2007, starring Amar Upadhaya and Monalisa. In 2008, we made Leap of Faith, an English documentary on the life of Yogacharya B.K.S. Iyenger, the world renowned Yoga Guru.

In 2012, we produced the epic Golaberij, a Marathi feature film on the life of the famous Pu. La. Deshpande. The film featured the who’s who of the Marathi film industry including Dilip Prabhavalkar, Dr. Mohan Agashe, Manoj Joshi, Sanjay Narvekar, Prashant Damle, Prasad Oak, Mukta Barve, etc and is the biggest Marathi film made in the last 25 years with 77 characters, 66 locations and 30 Marathi celebrity stars participating in it.

We released on 1st February 2013 the Gujarati feature film Saptapadii, starring Swaroop Sampat and Manav Gohil and produced by AB Corp (Amitabh Bachchan Corporation) Slash Productions. This film was described as a landmark in Gujarati Cinema, and apart from its financial success (it ran for 12 consecutive weeks in Mumbai), its critical success is also evident from the fact that it has been selected into 8 film festivals in 5 countries.

Our secondMarathi film titled Dhurandhar Bhatawdekarwas released in May 2015, starring Mohan Joshi and Dr. Mohan Agashe. Plans for our third Marathi film are in the works. Future projects in the pipeline are a Bollywood thriller based on the present financial problems of our country, whose pre-production planning has already begun and has the backing of a major studio. 2-3 more Bollywood projects are at various stages of pre-production.

We are also in the process of producing our first Marathi TV shows and have begunpitching ideas at variousHindi TV channels.

Our company’s philosophy is to make Hindi and Regional Indian films and TV shows with strong, original, and local content. We want to showcase the rich Indian cultural, philosophical, and literary heritage. Indian entertainment is becoming bigger and more international, and we want to make our culture and sensibilities universal through films and media.
